Urban Cyclocross™ #3 11/16/2008 Race Results

Brian has won a total of 18 Mountain Bike titles – 9 NORBA National Championships, 6 UCI World Cup wins and 4 UCI World Championship titles. Brian has also held world records in bunny hopping, in terms of both distance and height.

Race Report: Youth, masters, pros and fur were all flyin' at the Black Cat 'Cross as riders got a chance to earn extra series points by grabbing one of our decorative cats. The community youth races were maxed out as Back On Track continues with its goal of bringing in the next generation.

Robert Weyman Master 35+ series leader		Perfect weather and perfect conditions greeted Oct 25th racers at the 2009 Urban Cyclocross™Series Race #3 at the Cornerstone Picnic Park in Irvine.

The 2009 Urban Cyclocross

Series Race #1 returned to Ken Malloy Park on September 20th. Riders enjoyed the cool breezes on the expanded course.


Weekly Cyclocross Training Clinics by Michael

Weekly Cyclocross Training Clinics were held from 8/12/2009 through 9/2/2009 at Hess Park, instructed by Michael Papet. Rides went from 6PM - 7PM and welcomed beginners. Helmets and a friendly attitude were the only requirements.

The general plan was as follows: Course changes from week to week. Multiple 10 minute sessions to start. Courses were fast hard-pack surface, very physically demanding with some variety and excellent technical practice. Riders suffered as little and but had fun at the same time.
